Red List makes vulnerability visible. It takes statistics from the global IUCN Red List of threatened species and turns them into an artwork that visually represents statistics. My latest work in this series visualises threatened species (95) in a nature reserve located at my current workplace, the University of the Western Cape, which is sited on the ecologically fraught Cape Flats. This artwork is now in a corporate collection in Cape Town. Earlier work in this series can be viewed at Frugi Bonae - a trilogy depicted vulnerability at different levels of the intertwined ecosystem.
